“The Impossible Dream”
Quotes and Comments
~ Ron’s Memoirs

“And the world will be better for this
That one man, scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable star”
~ Mitch Leigh & Joe Darion, “The Impossible Dream” (From “The Man of La Mancha”)[edited]

“In the ultimate stillness

Light penetrates the whole realm;

In the still illumination,

There pervades pure emptiness.

When I look back on the

Phenomenal world,

Everything is just like a dream.”

~ Han-shan Te-Ch’ing
“All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.”
~ Edgar Allan Poe, A Dream Within a Dream
“We are such stuff As dreams are made on,

and our little life Is rounded with a sleep.”

~ William Shakespeare

Ron’s Introduction to “Our Impossible Dream”

Dear Friends,

At age ninety one, I’ve realized that every human being on our beautiful blue planet Earth, without exception, is awakening from an impossible ego dream – an experiment in time, space and duality of seemingly seeing and being separate from our one and only Divine Mother/Father/God Creator and Source; an illusory chosen separation amnesia that never happened, because Ultimate Reality and existence is only Infinitely Potential LOVE.

So I have earlier today republished vision and perception quotations and sutra sayings summarizing this realization.

But because of the crucial importance of this realization, which can karmically inspire our ever-increasing inner happiness in this precious human lifetime, I’m now concurrently publishing memoirs, comments, and key quotations, about transcending 3D space/time and duality illusionary relative reality by awakening from its inevitable but impossible ego-mind dreams and fears, of suffering death or non-existence.

These quotes and comments differ because each of us is unique with perspectives, thoughts, and behaviors different from all other sentient beings. Thus we are each experiencing differently our inevitable awakenings from our impossible ego dreams and hallucinations of separation from our Divine Mother/Father/God Creator as ONE Infinitely Potential LOVE.

Also, I’ve recently discovered and embedded below the beautiful melody and lyrics of the song The Impossible Dream (From “The Man of La Mancha”) as hauntingly and powerfully sung by great world tenor José Carreras, the words & music by Mitch Leigh and Joe Darion.

Gratefully and joyfully I invite you to hear, read, and reflect upon today’s quotes and comments, which will inevitably bless us all as LOVE.

And so may it be!

Ron’s Reflections on “Our Impossible Dream”

Dear Friends,

“Knowingly or subconsciously everyone seeks eternal peace and happiness. But until we attain Self Realization, we’re all evolving beyond egoically and fearfully misidentifying ourselves as separated from our Mother/Father/God and only Divine Creator, instead of BEING and existing as ONE Eternal LOVE.

Except for rare Avatars and Self-Realized Beings, like Zen Master
~ Han-shan Te-Ch’ing quoted above, or like Jesus Christ the Eternal embodiment of Divine LOVE, no Earthly human being can always be ego-free.

That is impossible in this low energy illusory 3D world of time, space, and karmic causality duality, where nothing or no one exists forever.
So we unavoidably suffer here from our unskillful ego-thoughts, fears and behaviors.
And our fearful sufferings are like a cosmic ‘incentive system’ for us to faithfully remember our true non-duality self-identity and ‘reality’ as Eternal LOVE.

Our sufferings end when we remember, with experiential Self knowledge, that we are Infinitely potential and Eternal Divine LOVE, rather than impermanent, separate and mortal ego-mind entities that never existed.”

So we are all living an impossible dream within a dream, until we courageously awaken “to reach the unreachable star”.

Gratefully and joyfully may we to hear, read, and reflect upon today’s haunting melody, quotes and comments, which will inevitably bless us all as LOVE.

And so may it be!

The Impossible Dream – Jose Carreras-

José Carreras singing “The Impossible Dream”

“The Impossible Dream”

To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear the unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go

To right the unrightable wrong
To be better far than you are
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star

This is my quest, to follow that star
No matter how hopeless,
No matter how far
To fight for the right
Without question or pause
To be willing to march into hell
For a heavenly cause

And I know if I’ll only be true
To this glorious quest
That my heart will be peaceful and calm
When I’m laid to my rest

And the world would be better for this
That one man scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable star
